Suzuki RGV 250 R Refurb -

Finally I have got round to doing my 1994 RGV250 R I have had the bike 10 year but have just stored it. We removed the motor and stripped it for inspection. It has done 30,000 miles so expected to find some wear and tear but it wasn't to bad, I couple of rough crank bearings and worn out pistons and a few marks in the nicosil liners. so crank has now had a full rebuild and the bores have been fully reconditioned      ( new nicosil liners with new piston sets)   We have had quite a few parts replated...

Yamaha RD400C Full Restoration -

Paintwork came back this week and I am well pleased, faultless !! Fitted it all to the bike, with the seat after Colin Wlilcocks sorted it for us, and ready for road testing.

MOD Military CG125 -

We had a  Honda CG125 copy bike lurking in the corner, longing for its own identity. Steve Mcqueen has been an influence to many people of a certain age so a bit of the great escape age came to PItstop I resisted the "remove as much as possible and brush paint the remainder green" approach  As usual I got carried away a bit, wanting to make it as nice/factory  finish as I could. Lots of new parts to get the right look.

Yamaha RD400C Full Restoration -

Managed to get a big push on the rebuild, got it all assembled, electrics tested, temp' oil tank fitted, oil system primed and ready for starting up. 4  prods on the kick start and it fired up , nice and easy, no problem. tweak and balance the carbs and ignition timing , sound great ! Just need the paintwork to come back from dream machine and it will be ready for road testing.

Yamaha RD400C Full Restoration -

Engine is in and nearly finished now, caliper decals and wheels fitted. Its original exhausts are to be used after a a few hours of cleaning, they  are in decent condition for its age and show a little bit of its past life patena. original rear grab rail, new indicators and wiring up is now the center of attention, while access is still good.
