At last I have managed to finish the Cafe and blog the final pictures.After finishing the paintwork I altered a new stainless steel rear mudguard to fit and fabricated the back light holder, side panels and clock bracket from sheet aluminium , to add to the "Black and shiney" Cafe theme.I blasted and painted the standard silencers black, to contrast with the chromed downpipes and made a couple of baffles to suit (no longer available) New throttle and choke cables and a set of plugs, an oil change, set up the ignition by dial gauge and balance up the ultrasonically...

Kawasaki S1 250 Cafe Racer -

The S1 Cafe is looking good, The rechromed fork tubes and recon'd legs have been assembled and fitted. New shox are on. The wheels are rebuilt and fitted to the frame with their "chunky tyres" Engine has had its facelift with hours of cleaning, blasting and painting. Some of the zinc and chrome plating has also been assembled (like the chrome downpipe/black engine contrast) Custom made clipons and new headlamp are also fitted. Paint work is also ongoing.

We have been asked to make a Cafe racer from a early 70's Kawasaki S1 250 (a drum braked KH250) The owner Neil has bought the bike in a poor state as a basis for a cafe styled bike and has give us the bike to create his vision.
