The first technical hitch. When Bruce selects High Beam the fuse blows! He has found a workshop to try and find the fault as it wasn't in the headlamp wiring. The out come was an internal fault in the clock console, so the high beam was disabled for now. I am not sure what the mechanic is doing with Bruce's exhaust?

Bruce and Jean have done about 5000 miles so far, they should hit Mexico in about 5 days. Here is Bruce doing an oil change or Yoga or both who knows, at least he looks happy!

Bruce and Jean picking up a few last minute bits and pieces, initial packing has started.  The bikes have to be ready and packed for Tuesday so off they go to cram it all in/on.

Latest from Bruce: When in Rome.... Shoot things :-) Down in Virginia, after some very wet weather in Pennsylvania, her Dianse gear is not as good as my Hein Gericke stuff. Went shooting with some friends, Barbara and Hal. Hanging out, drinking beer, going the beach and having a rest from the road. After an easy border crossing at Cornwall with only a 10 minute interview we rode through the New England states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts , some great roads and met some really nice Canadians in Conway (yes, they have no originality to names of towns here)...

We finally arrived in Patagonia, via a 4 day cruise of the fjords seeing seals, whales, penguins and a glacier. We decided to spend a few days camping in the Torres Del Paine NP. The road in and out of the park is "ripio", hard packed gravel that is a step up from sand and soil. Unfortunately a single road can be OK, or often they may be repairing sections of it, which means they pile a lot of soil up on the surface. And when you add rain it becomes what Jean now refers to as "Sh*tio" The ripio...
