This years open day will be the last Saturday in April (28th) this year instead of the first Saturday in May.
We will have the usual free food and brew's, music and bikes.
I am still to confirm special/unusual/interesting "stuff" but will blog details as soon as I know.
Get them bikes out, the season has started and Dave at D&K in Leigh is getting really busy with MOT's , so get one booked if you need one.

A Nice example I bought a couple of years ago.
We have decided not to restore this one because it's nice as it is.
The tank paintwork was poor so I fitted the best Tank that I had. (I had hid one away, for my use only)
It runs well and has a new seat fitted by its previous owner.
I have put it in my for sale row for £1695, to include a full MOT.

Karen has decided to go to the next stage of her Triumph's transformation.
Wish list this time is:
Slightly lower rear end.
Alloy front and rear mudguards.
Alloy seat or seat cowl.
Unrestricted reverse cone mega exhausts.
K+N style air filters (junk the airbox)
Large valve head conversion.
Polish the front fork lowers and fit Brit style gaiters.
Progress so far:
We have stripped it down and started some of the work, the forks are done and the front mudguard is fitted.
I have taken a pic of the valves in the head before we send it to Len Patterson for the head work.

We have got the plating back and have restored some of the loose alloy parts.
The re-bore has been done and the head has had its guides sorted.
The new alloy pushrod tubes and new pushrods have also arrived with seals gaskets etc.
So its on with the build, hoping to get the rolling chassis soon and the motor should be back together soon.

I have dug out my T140D and have started the restoration work.
Its a 1978/79 model US style.
Rick has been cleaning and prepping all the nuts/bolts etc ready for plating, frame has been prepared and painted in 2 pack gloss black.
Wheels and forks are rebuilt ready and the motor strip down has started.
