Kawasaki S1 250 Cafe Racer - Project finished

At last I have managed to finish the Cafe and blog the final pictures.

After finishing the paintwork I altered a new stainless steel rear mudguard to fit and fabricated the back light holder, side panels and clock bracket from sheet aluminium , to add to the "Black and shiney" Cafe theme.

I blasted and painted the standard silencers black, to contrast with the chromed downpipes and made a couple of baffles to suit (no longer available)

New throttle and choke cables and a set of plugs, an oil change, set up the ignition by dial gauge and balance up the ultrasonically cleaned carb's got it running sweetly.

After a few more bits and pieces it was time to test it, sounds runs and rides well so the next step was to book an MOT with Dave at D&K in Leigh.

Neil rode the bike himself to the MOT, wearing  one of the biggest grins I have ever see.
